General info

The PRIDE Playground is specially designed for kids birth to age three with disabilities.
This special outdoor classroom brings children and families together to master the skills of success through play and achievement.
At PRIDE for Kids we provide early intervention services. We work with children who have sensory disabilities such as vision or hearing impairments and developmental disabilities such as autism or Down Syndrome.  Our mission is to advance children’s success through developmental activities and parent education.
In 2005, PRIDE for Kids moved into a newly renovated facility at the Arc Family Center.  Our specially designed classrooms provide advantageous environments where children of all abilities can learn and play together. We have created a specialized environment to foster sensory, motor, social and cognitive learning. Access to a variety of experiences helps each child learn to their potential.  We are extending our enriched learning environment found indoors to the outdoors.
Working with our highly trained staff, developmental specialists and parents we have designed a very specific and dynamic learning environment for outdoor play.
