PRIDE for Kids

PRIDE for Kids serves children from birth to three years old with a full range of therapies and special education emphasizing parent participation.  Our caring staff of licensed speech, physical and occupational therapists and special education teachers create a specialized program for each little client and their family.  The program often includes one-on-one therapy, small group therapy to promote social interaction and services delivered in the baby’s home.  We involve parents, grandparents and caregivers in therapy so learning for the child extends beyond the walls of the Arc Family Center.  Founded by a loving mom over 25 years ago, PRIDE has served thousands of children and continues to nurture and strengthen young children and families as they grow.    Pride for Kids serves over 125 children with disabilities and their families each year.

Helping People Achieve a Lifetime of Success

   The Arc of Clark County

The Arc of Clark County is dedicated to providing, supporting and promoting public awareness and acceptance, informed personal decision making, safety and well-being of individuals with developmental disabilities.  We are celebrating our 70th anniversary!

Our history is one of compassion, service and advocacy.

An estimated 3% of Clark County residents are persons with disabilities.  Arc’s services touch the lives of hundreds of individuals each month providing a diverse range of services to children and adults with developmental disabilities and their families.  The guiding philosophy for our activities is to promote dignity, equality, and self-determination.  Our programs for adults include residential support, community integration, and living skills development. Donations to the Arc, a nonprofit 501(c) (3), are tax-deductible.

The Arc of Clark County is a private, nonprofit corporation dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. Through various programs geared towards the needs of the individual, we help people strive toward independence and full integration within their community. Along their journey, the Arc provides training, counseling, encouragement, education, friendship, resources and advocacy.
